Dear Terry:

So. Now, Purchasing Political Power now, as long is it is FORMALIZED as part of the political process now, is now being allowed to be considered as a FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT?  No, that is very very  very WRONG!!  That INEVITABLY leads to a DYSFUNCTIONAL political system controlled by a POLITI-MATHEMATICAL principle of MORE MONEY MORE POWER, instead of a FUNCTIONAL political system operated by a POLITI-MATHEMATICAL principle of MORE VOICES MORE POWER.

Purchasing Political Power, either directly or indirectly via the LOBBYIST INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX is BRIBERY.  Pure and Simple.

PS/1:  Just what do THE FEDERALIST PAPERS call it?
PS/2:  Just what do BEN FRANKLIN and THOMAS PAYNE call it??
PS/3:  Just what do THOMAS JEFFERSON and JOHN HANCOCK call it???
PS/4:  Just DO NOT BOTHER asking alexander hamilton, right?
PS/5:  Right, George?  RIGHT? RIGHT?? Just HOW FAR to the REICHT???

God Responded, yes indeed, with a will-O-wisps voice...

With a semi-translucent voice...
With a semi-transparent voice...
With a semi-O-paque-ish voice...

From somewhere over my right shoulder...
From somewhere near the edge of the sky...
From somewhere in the distance, kinda high...

Carl (GuSTaV) Jung
(1875-1961) Swiss Psychologist, Psychiatrist

A man who has not passed through the inferno of his passions has never overcome them.

Every form of addiction is bad, no matter whether the narcotic be alcohol or morphine or idealism.

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.

From the middle of life onward, only he remains vitally alive who is ready to die with life.

In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.

It all depends on how we look at things, and not how they are in themselves.

It is a fact that cannot be denied: the wickedness of others becomes our own wickedness because it kindles something evil in our own hearts.

It is on the whole probably that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it.

Knowledge rests not upon truth alone, but upon error also.

Man needs difficulties; they are necessary for health.

Meaning makes a great many things endurable.

Mistakes are, after all, the foundations of truth, and if a man does not know what a thing is, it is at least an increase in knowledge if he knows what it is not.

Neurosis is always a substitute for legitimate suffering.

Nothing is more repulsive than a furtively prurient spirituality; it is just as unsavory as gross sensuality.

Our blight is ideologies - they are the long-expected Antichrist!

People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul.

Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you.

Sometimes, indeed, there is such a discrepancy between the genius and his human qualities that one has to ask oneself whether a little less talent might not have been better.

The achievements which society rewards are won at the cost of diminution of personality.

The healthy man does not torture others - generally it is the tortured who turn into the torturers.

The least of things with a meaning is worth more in life than the greatest of things without it.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.

The wine of youth does not always clear with advancing years; sometimes it grows turbid.

There can be no transforming of darkness into light and of apathy into movement without emotion.

There is no coming to consciousness without pain.

Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune.

We cannot change anything unless we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.

We deem those happy who from the experience of life have learnt to bear its ills without being overcome by them.

When an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as 'fate'.

Where love rules, there is no will to power; where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.

Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart - Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.

Diamond Teeth Mary Week

Speaking of the blues, the W.Va. Blues Society's western West Virginia connection, Chris Sutton, who is a past winner of the solo blues competition in Pittsburgh and who's been a sideman with the legendary Nat Reese, is cooking up an Aug. 31 celebration to honor the late, great Mountain State-native blues lady Diamond Teeth Mary Smith McClain.

The Diamond Teeth Mary Proclamation Celebration will start about 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31. It will go into the evening with Sutton and C&S Railroad as well as featured guests from the Huntington Harmonica Club and headliners Liz Pennock and Dr. Blues, who toured with Diamond Teeth Mary all over the U.S. and Europe and who cut and produced her last recording as well.

The evening of blues will take place at the V Club, 741 6th Ave.

ONE ANSWER to the C-SPAN question ; ONE QUESTION for C-SPAN.org

FIRST, TWO QUESTIONS:

PS/1:  ONE QUESTION:  Did BiLL-Dog Loose 'the nomination' for Sweet Hillary TEN YEARS AGO with The Devil in a Blue Dress ??
PS/2:  ONE MORE QUESTION:  Is it time for BiLL to ADMIT THAT to himself, to Hillary, and to EVERYONE ELSE and MoveOn.org??

ONE ANSWER to the C-SPAN question: Should the Democrats go 'on the attack':  YES, but...

IN A WORD (or two): YES, but...they should go on a "STICK TO THE ISSUES" Attack.
They should not 'go negative' OR 'go positive', but the should instead "GO FACTUAL".

  • FOR INSTANCE:  When the Re-Pub 'attack machine' harps on the 'experience' issue, We should:
  • GO FACTUAL: Point out THE FACT that in ANY job interview in America, candidates are NOT judged
  • SOLELY ON EXPERIENCE, but on a MANY factors, AND ESPECIALLY on appropriate job SKILLS, and
  • WHEN IT IS CLEAR that one candidate has a MUCH broader and MORE advanced appropriate job skill set,
  • THEY ARE HIRED regardless of the 'many years' of 'supposedly copious experience' of another JOB candidate,
  • AND ESPECIALLY when that experience involves REPEATED association with very QUESTIONABLE characters,
  • SUCH AS the likes of W.  & The Keating Five, and the QUESTIONABLE EXPERIENCE involves bad judgements,
  • AND EVEN the supposed 'great accomplishment' of the 'success of the surge' can be put into SERIOUS question,
  • ESPECIALLY when MANY other contributing factors, INCLUDING war fatigue, ethnic cleansing, and awakenings,
  • ESPECIALLY the FACT that 'the surge' was NOT an actual overall increase in "COALITION" troops in Ear-Rock,
  • BUT MOST ESPECIALLY the FACT that success in Ear-Rock is due to a CHANGE in TACTICS not numbers,
  • IT IS CLEAR that EXPERIENCE ALONE does not an EXCELLENT OR QUALIFIED JOB CANDIDATE make,
  • JUST ASK any human resources manager, business owner, or CEO, besides LAST Place Rangers' Bush.
  • PS:  THE PEN is still THE MIGHTIEST OF BULLETS that U will find, JUST ASK any one with a mind

PS/1:  ONE QUESTION:  Did BiLL Dog Lose 'the nomination' for Sweet Hillary TEN YEARS AGO with The Devil in a Blue Dress ??
PS/2:  ONE MORE QUESTION:  Is it time for BiLL to ADMIT THAT to himself, to Hillary, and to EVERYONE ELSE and MoveOn.org??
