Taxation VERSUS Representation

!=! Let's Put TvR On The Table !=!

LEGEND: TvR = Taxation VERSUS Representation

!! It is time that We put the ENTIRE Taxation Versus Representation Equation ON The Table !!

The United States of America was founded on the notion that taxation MUST be accompanied by representation. In recent years, much effort by many people has gone into reducing the Taxation Half of the TvR equation, but the Representation Half of the TvR equation has not increased significantly since 1971. Unfortunately, the Taxation Half of the equation can only be reduced so far until government becomes at first dysfunctional, then debilitated, and eventually detoriorated... . . . . . . . . .

..
...
...and so, through constant focus on the reduction of Taxation without sufficient focus on the evolvement of Representation, We have decreased the effectiveness of Our Government without increasing the expansiveness of Our control over Our Government. Essentially, as of late We have only focused on the INPUT side of the equation, without improving to any significant degree how We can shape more directly the ways in which Our Public Servants allocate the assets of Our Common Wealth toward Our Mutual Benefit.

By doing so, We have accumulated intesifying dissatisfaction throughout liberal, conservative, and independent bodies of Our Population. With good reasons, the liberals lament the inability of Our Government to improve the lives of the lower half lives in Our Society while the conservatives decry with the inability of Our Government to provide adequate basic services on a par with adequately funded commercial ventures while independents become expansively dissillusioned with Our Mutual Inability to evolve past this seemingly paradoxical point of societal bifurcation. The combined effect of this mutual dissatisfaction then serves to further undermine realistic confidence in Our Government to manage Our Affairs, thus exacerbating the situation.

Some Conservatives openly express their desire to strangle Our Government to the point at which it can be drowned in a bathtub. That is open suport for Anarchy, and it is Treason.

Some Liberals openly express their resignation with and tacit approval of the current status quo Commercial-Lobbyist Complex. That is Malfeasance, and it is Corruption.

Some Independents openly express their complete suspicion and distrust of anyone and anything related to the governing of Our Society. That is Abdication, and it is DisUnion.

The best way forward is to balance out the TvR Equation by continuing Our Evolvement of Our Representation. We must reapply focus on the process of upgrading our nation from its original infantile form as a Representative Democracy ever forward toward its ultimate form of a Self-Representative Democracy. We must continue to evolve the America That Is into The America That Can Be... . . . . . . . . .
